Brava! Team Lead



Brava! Pizzeria is a catering and retail food business utilizing fixed and mobile wood-fired ovens as its primary cooking source.  Brava! is located in Denver, Colorado and performs retail and catered events throughout the Denver metro area and Colorado Rocky Mountain region.



Position: Shift Leader (station and mobile)

Reports To: General Manager

The Shift Leader’s ultimate responsibility is ensuring customer satisfaction is the priority and that efficient management of all operational aspects each contributes to that satisfaction.  Shift Leaders are friendly, enthusiastic and set a positive influence.




  • Effectively lead the restaurant or retail site, and all operational aspects
  • Ensure that team members prepare food items according to Brava! standards of quality, consistency and timeliness
  • Responsible for training and development of new employees on shift
  • Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with all team members
  • Follow Brava! operational policy and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security, to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
  • Proficient in each area of the kitchen to assist when necessary
  • Follow inventory control procedures to reduce product loss
  • Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities
  • Maintains a positive work environment for employees and guests
  • Assists with preparing food when necessary
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the Brava! culture
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper set up and breakdown of the restaurant including the kitchen, mobile equipment, dining area, storage areas and prep areas
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality




  • Excellent guest service skills required
  • Ability to communicate work-related information to coworkers and supervisors
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time with limited breaks
  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to push, pull or carry up to 500 lbs. with the aid of a rolling cart.
  • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures in the kitchen working environment, ranging from 0 to 120 degrees
  • Ability to visually inspect, taste and smell product to ensure freshness and quality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, management, clients and vendors if necessary
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate business levels, including nights, weekends and holidays



  • Posses a valid and current drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Previous management or leadership experience required
  • Can demonstrate operating a van towing a trailer safely
  • Customer service experience preferred, preferably in a restaurant environment
